Supplies:
GIMP, or program of choice
Kit- "Black Ice", which is a PTU kit by myself. Check the left side of my blog for where you can purchase it.
Tube- Bella by SkyScraps. This beautiful tube can be purchased from SATC with a valid license.
Mask- HorsePlay's Pasture Mask 27 here
Font - Snell Roundhand Medium, which I think came with the program
Here we go :)
Open a new canvas 700x700
Open as Layers Paper 13 or paper of choice
Open as Layers Mask
Right click paper 13 and click "Add Layer Mask"
Choose- Black (full transparency)
this will create a black square with your paper layer
Activate your mask layer, edit>copy
click that black square from earlier, edit>paste
anchor your floating layer
Hide or delete the original layer
I duplicated my masked paper layer a few times to make it darker.
Open your frame6 layer
activate your fuzzy select tool
make sure "add to current selection" is chosen
click inside each window of the frame
select>grow by 5 pixels
select>invert
open as layers your paper of choice
right click>add alpha channel to paper
hit delete on your keyboard
While still selected, open as layers close up of tube
position and hit delete
select>none
on tube layer change blend mode to Soft Light, opacity 70
Now decorate your tag with elements from the kit
I used:
wings
feather-duplicate/flip horizontal/reposition
trees-duplicate/flip horizontal/reposition
black pearls
snowmound
crow
candle2-duplicate/flip horizontal/reposition
rose-duplicate/flip horizontal/reposition
Open as layers Tube right above your feathers
duplicate
on top tube layer:
filters>blur>gaussian blur at 3
blend mode- soft light, opacity- 30
drop shadow the bottom tube layer
crop and scale your image
add copyright and license info
add name and any text
add drop shadows to elements
merge, save, enjoy :)

Supplies-
GIMP, or program of choice
Kit: I'm using a FTU kit called "Harvest of Memories" by Designs by LK here
Tube: A gorgeous tube by Leonardo55 which can be purchased at PFD here
Mask: Mask4byTonya here
Font: Before the Rain, a FTU font
Here we go :)
This is a full sized kit, so you'll need to scale down a bit.
Open a new canvas 700x700
Open pp6 onto canvas, scale to fit canvas
Right click and Add Layer Mask
Now open mask onto canvas
With Mask layer active, Edit>Copy
Highlight the black box on your paper layer
Edit>Paste, anchor to paper layer
delete mask layer
Open as layers pp3
Above that, open as layers ele12
Using the fuzzy select tool in the "add to selection" mode
click inside each part of the wheel
select>grow 5 pixels
select>invert
hit delete on the paper layer
select>none
Add tube of choice
duplicate layer
on top layer:
filters>blur>gaussian blur 3
change blend mode to Overlay, opacity 90
drop shadow bottom tube layer
Resize and add elements to your tag:

ele19
ele35
ele31
ele6
ele47
ele42
ele49
ele38
Add drop shadow to each element
Now crop and resize your image
add copyright and license info
add name and any text
merge, save, enjoy :)

Supplies-
Kit- "Christina" by Wicked Princess Scraps. You can find this great kit by visiting her blog here. And check out the inspiration behind this kit here..she is the original "Horror Whore"
Tube- I'm using an amazing tube by Alex Prihodko available at PFD with a valid license.
Mask- HorsePlay's Pasture Mask 39 here
Font- Nightmare, a FTU font
GIMP
Here we go :)
For this tut, open= file>open as layers
Create a new canvas 700x700
Open your mask onto your canvas
directly below that-
open pp13, right click-add layer mask
choose "Black (full transparency)"
make sure the solid black square is highlighted
Now activate your mask layer
Edit>copy, Edit>paste
anchor layer
delete mask layer
add the following elements:
Mirror
Spiderweb
wrinkly bow
skull tomb
tall candle
tomb
hourglass
dragon bowl
Drop shadow everything except the spiderweb layer
add tube of choice
place below tomb layer
add drop shadow
scale and crop image
add copyright and license info
add name and any text
merge, save, enjoy!

Font- Miodrag, a FTU font
GIMP- a ftu program, or your program of choice
Here we go :)
First open a new canvas 750x750
File-Open As Layers- Frame2
position in center of canvas
Open paper 18, Layer-scale layer
scale about 70%, make sure chain is linked so it stays in proportion
Add alpha channel to paper layer
Using your fuzzy select tool, click inside frame
Select-Grow about 5 pixels
Select-invert, highlight paper layer
Edit-clear, or hit delete on keyboard
Add tube close up above paper layer
hit delete on keyboard
Change blend mode to Screen, opacity 85
Select-none
Add tube of choice to canvas
Duplicate tube layer
on top tube layer-
Filters-blur-gaussian blur, radius 5
change blend mode to Screen, opacity 40
drop shadow bottom tube layer
Now add elements to your tag-
floor- scale layer 75%
wrap
flowers3- scale 70%
box
butterfly2- rotate 35, scale 80%
glass
lounge
box3- scale 75%
lotus
scale and crop image
add drop shadows where needed
add license and copyright info
add name and any text
merge, save, enjoy!!
